Why am I here?

Five years ago, I ran into someone I used to work with at the public library. She saw that I was carrying EAARTH, by Bill McKibben, and asked if I was interested in joining the Environmental Commission. I said "Sure."

Since then, I've been trying to navigate local politics. It's a weird hobby, but so is the world we live in.
